Mrs. Shawuanna Williams-Lewis is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and passionate advocate for mental health. She has over 24 years of nursing experience in diverse specialties and populations. She has worked with Mississippi Veterans for 7 years and long-term care for over 16 years. 

Currently, she provides psychiatric mental health services across the lifespan that improve patient outcomes for conditions such as but not limited: to Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Dementia, and Schizophrenia. Over the years of her healthcare experience, she has recognized the mental health disparities that profoundly exist in rural and minority communities.

 She is dedicated to leading and participating in initiatives against mental health stigmas and efforts to eliminate the inequities to quality mental health access.
